Gemma Carey is a freelance Social Media Specialist working closely with fashion and beauty brands. She is based between London and Bristol, UK. Gemma began her career in fashion styling and events, working for the likes of Daily Mail, OK! Magazine and UK Lingerie Awards to name a few, before being offered a role as PR Coordinator for Rotary Watches. It was there that Gemma developed her love for nurturing brands through social media. After 9 months in this role Gemma decided to go freelance, which was when she began working part time as Online Marketing Manager for luxury belt company Elliot Rhodes London. Since the age of 16 Gemma has written a fashion and beauty blog - www.gemmacarey.com - which has brought her many career opportunities and collaborations, whilst building relationships with fellow bloggers. In October 2015 Gemma launched Glow Communications - a social media agency specialising in nurturing fashion and beauty brands.
